WHY NOT JUST TRAIN IN MARTIAL ARTS? |
|
|
- Martial Arts and self-defense are not the same thing.
The martial arts such as Judo and Karate are specific fighting systems.
SELF-DEFENSE IS NOT ABOUT FIGHTING. Self-defense has a different and much broader focus which includes PREVENTING violence and PROTECTING yourself should conflict occur and EXITING to insure PERSONAL SAFETY.
Self-defense utilizes techniques which MINIMIZE FIGHTING and MAXIMIZE PERSONAL SAFETY.
